The 10th Anniversary Carlisle Skills Fair hosted by John Stevenson MP is set to go ahead on Thursday 25th January, 2.00-6.30 pm at Carlisle College.

This year, over 70 local employers and education, training and skills providers are set to attend. This is the largest number of employers and skills providers from the Carlisle area under one roof, since the Skills Fair began over ten years ago.

Speaking John said, “The clock striking midnight on New Year’s Eve often turns thoughts to a fresh start and a time for change in the year ahead. For some, this may be the first step on a career path, with a training course or an apprenticeship programme. For others, it may be a change of workplace or a change of job and for some it may be the first step to returning to work following a career break.
